It is a globalized method that brings together image, word and reading. It seeks the maximum development of skills and abilities, systematically working on psychomotor, cognitive, affective, and psycholinguistic aspects to achieve effective reading and writing, respecting the personal rhythm of each boy and girl.

Its creator is Carlota Lesmes, Spanish educator, member of the Teresian Association.

Each boy and girl acts freely, learns at their personal pace, builds their knowledge by themselves, evaluates their behavior and their learning.

The family is integrated into the learning process, participates in the achievement of objectives, stimulates work time at home, collaborates with school responsibility, knows how to dialogue.

Learning projects are understood as a globalizing methodology, which puts into dialogue three fundamental elements to achieve meaningful learning linked to life: on the one hand, the interests of the students, on the other the Established Curriculum and, together with these, the needs and reality of the context in which the educational action takes place.

The teacher, as a mediator, must combine that investigative curiosity that the student manifests in an innate and spontaneous way, with the systematization of the learning proposed in the official curriculum. Through this research we will arrive at what students are capable of learning applied to life and the transformation of the environment that surrounds them.(Learning projects, Blanchard and Muzás Narcea 2016)
